BWOPA believes that Black women are superheroes. We love our men. We raise our children. We lead businesses. We build our community. When threats to our safety whether public or private emerge, we consider it a call to action. COVID-19 is a threat to Black families everywhere and BWOPA will not stand by while members of our families and communities continue to die disproportionately because we don’t have all the facts – or don’t believe the facts as presented. We will not operate in fear, we will operate in faith. Confidence in the science and data necessary for us to understand this virus and the best ways for us to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe.

BWOPA has partnered with WEVAX and the state of California Department of Public Health to launch BLACK+VAXXED – a public awareness campaign designed to give the Black community the facts and insight necessary to make an informed decision about the vaccine.
